We can produce 200,000 tons of chemical fiber oil and 200,000 tons of surfactants annually. We can supply more than one hundred types of products. Especially its polyester POY oil is an exclusively developed product in China and can totally replace imported hi-tech products.
Emulsifier TWEEN, also known as sorbitan fatty acid ester polyoxyethylene ether, ethoxylated sorbitan fatty acid ester or polyoxyethylated sorbitan fatty acid ester, is a versatile non-ionic surfactant. Produced by the ethoxylation of sorbitan esters of fatty acids, it effectively stabilises oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions whilst providing solubilising, wetting and dispersing properties. Common commercial grades include TWEEN 20 and TWEEN 80, differing in fatty acid chain length and degree of ethoxylation.
TWEEN is soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, and isopropanol, yet insoluble in mineral oils and animal fats, exhibiting excellent emulsifying, dispersing, and stabilising properties. Within the textile industry, it serves as a softener and antistatic agent; in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, it functions as an emulsifier for lotions, creams, and ointments; while in the food sector, it stabilises products such as ice cream, margarine, and baked goods.
Emulsifier Span constitutes a class of non-ionic surfactants primarily formed by the esterification of sorbitan with fatty acids; hence, it is also termed sorbitan fatty acid ester. This product series includes Span20, Span80, and others, with different grades corresponding to varying fatty acid chain lengths such as lauric acid, stearic acid, and oleic acid esters.
Emulsifier span finds extensive application in industrial and consumer chemicals, serving as both a water-in-oil (W/O) emulsifier and functioning as a lubricant, thickener, antistatic agent, or softener. It is commonly employed in food, cosmetics, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and agrochemical sectors. This compound enhances the stability of oil-water mixtures, improves emulsion dispersion, and exhibits low toxicity and biodegradability within formulations.
When combined with other surfactants, the Span series can modulate the hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB value) of emulsions, optimising performance for diverse applications. This versatility enables multifunctional performance in emulsification, lubrication, and fibre treatment.
