Application

1. Emulsifier Span Series

Role: As a low HLB emulsifier, primarily used in W/O emulsion systems.

In Oilfields: Used for stabilizing and regulating crude oil emulsions. Can be combined with high HLB Tween series to form blended emulsion systems, meeting requirements for demulsifier or oil displacement agent formulations.

In Mining: Serves as an adjuvant for collectors in flotation processes, improving reagent distribution and selective adsorption within the pulp.

2. Emulsifier Tween Series

Role: High HLB emulsifier suitable for O/W emulsion systems.

In Oilfields: Commonly used as crude oil demulsifiers, drilling fluid emulsifiers, and fracturing fluid additives to promote oil-water separation or enhance the wettability of water relative to hydrophobic particles.

In Mining: Serves as frothing agents for flotation or pulp conditioners to improve frothing performance and aid in dispersing mineral particles.

3. PPG

Role: Low-foaming or defoaming additive with dual lubricating and dispersing properties.

In Oilfields: Serves as a defoamer and lubricant in drilling fluids and production additives, reducing friction and preventing bubbles from disrupting pumping operations.

In Mining: Used as a defoamer and lubricating additive in flotation or slurry transportation to maintain process stability.

4. Polyethylene Glycol Oleate

Role: Possesses both hydrophilic and lipophilic properties, capable of emulsifying oil contaminants while dispersing solids.

In Oilfields: Used in demulsifiers and oil-water treatment chemicals to emulsify/re-emulsify oil droplets and promote oil-water separation; also serves as a wetting agent in acidizing or fracturing fluids to enhance rock interface wettability.

In Mining: Serves as a flotation aid, enhancing collector dispersion and selective adsorption on mineral surfaces to improve metal mineral recovery rates.
