Polyester DTY oil agent is a spinning oil specifically designed for the production process of polyester draw-textured yarn (DTY). It provides lubrication, antistatic properties, and bundling functions during stretching, texturing, and winding operations, ensuring uniform yarn formation and excellent weaving performance.
Its typical composition includes refined mineral oil or synthetic ester as the base oil, blended with anionic and non-ionic surfactants to form a stable emulsion, enabling uniform oil adhesion to the fibre surface. Antistatic agents effectively eliminate static electricity generated by high-speed friction, preventing yarn breaks, hairiness, and tangling while enhancing production efficiency. Smoothing agents and lubricants reduce the friction coefficient between the yarn and guide components/winding devices, ensuring a smooth yarn passage and uniform package formation. Bundling agents may be incorporated to tighten fibre arrangement, improving oil distribution uniformity and enhancing the stability of the finished product.
DTY oiling agents are typically applied directly via rollers or nozzles, with a recommended oiling rate of 2.0%-6.0%, adjustable according to yarn specifications and process requirements. This oil agent must possess low viscosity, excellent penetrability, thermal stability, and washability. It must be completely removable during subsequent refining, bleaching, and dyeing processes without compromising fabric hand, colour fastness, or dyeing uniformity. Concurrently, it must ensure smooth weaving operations and high-quality performance in the final product.
